Funniest Blogs in the Philippines 2008

There’s an entirely different world of blogging that goes beyond the usual make money online, angsty experiences, travel, food, political, business, or tech blog. Yep, I’m talking about humorous blogs. It’s a good thing I happened to stumble upon JaypeeOnline.net’s 2008 Philippines 10 Funniest Blogs, which revealed me to the site known as KwentongBarbero.com (check out the delightfully long Final List)
So, the funniest Pinoy blog in 2008 is Chiksilog.com. I wonder why the 5th funniest, Mr. D, no longer has his blog at DearDiarya.blogspot.com

Grabe. Over 400 pages. All gone. Maybe fans of RomyDiaz can take the time to save the cached copies to their hard disks, before the next Google update forever erases what’s left of that blog.

thanks manuel for the writeup. humor runs in our veins, pinoys as we are. it’s just fit to give the humor bloggers their deserved recognition.
interesting anecdote: started my site kwentongbarbero just for the heck of beating the kuwentong barbero post in viloria.com in google pagerank years ago. dunno, but i got kicks from doing that. insane.
and about mrd, we’d have to negotiate his return later, thru diplomatic means or otherwise.

Yeah, it’s sad to know that Mr D’s blog is not there anymore. Does anyone know what happened to it? Did it get deleted or maybe he’s just preparing to move it to self-hosted blog? 400 pages lost is just so unfortunate.
