What’s the big deal on Janina’s case? It just goes to show that some of our kababayans are still very outdated. The world has changed significantly, it’s now getting important to speak other languages for better communication and results. I would rather speak in Pilipino so 1,000s of people will understand me than speak English and only few will know what I’m saying. Just compare us with other Asian countries that majority speak their native language than English, they’re more prosperous than us. That colonial mentality has hurt us significantly.

Hello, Manny!

For some reason, I couldn’t get to watch the whole thing. It’s just that I don’t want to have that imprinted on my memory but rather looking forward to the day when she could muster enough of the English language to satisfy those who equate ‘personality’ with speaking in English well.

She’ll definitely get better. She’ll be able to wow us with her speaking skills in no time. Give her 3-6 months and she’ll be more than fine.

As for me, 3-6 months of papaya soap, skin facials and blush on would hardly make a dent on my appearance.

Hi Manuel. I think with all the publicity she got, the contest organizers and Janina will surely work harder to prepare. Of course, making it to the top 5 cut is the first hurdle she had to deal with it during the actual competition.

F*** you, whoever you are you don’t have the right to judge the person. (Janina) Try to reveiw your english… do you think it is perfect. You are ugly that’s why you feel envy that San miguel was crowned. Hayop ka!!!!
