I think You Tube is now testing higher resolution videos. I normally upload videos of better quality than You Tube requires. I don't know why I do it, but it turns out that You Tube does keep the original file, even as they reduce the resolution to their current standard in the videos that are publicly shown. I found somewhere online a trick where you can actually see a higher resolution version of your You Tube video (provided you uploaded a higher resolution video in the first place). I tested it with mine, and yes, the video does look much better and with a lot more detail, but not too much. Right now I think You Tube is just testing it but you can test your own videos if it can look better. I've got screenshots which compares before and after, as well as how to do the test, in the latest post of my Bidjo site (link on my name). Hello Manuel! In fact, I think may HD na sila doon. Ang You Tube kasi they use a rather outdated software or coding kaya ganun.
