Virtual Smart Agent In Action

Virtual Smart Agent is a script that makes use of artificial intelligence to simulate what a salesperson will do if a customer walks out of a store without buying anything.

Only this time, we’re talking about people leaving a web page without buying anything. What if you can do something about it?

Well, someone did…

In the case of Dave Guindon’s VSA, a chat window will pop-up, and the non-human persona will attempt to convince the leaving visitor to stay a while and perhaps buy another product at a discount.

Based on Dave’s experience, he was able to convince 50% of his “let me outta here” visitors to actually buy something from his site.

I’ve experimented with the script, and have set-up a little sample of the Virtual Smart Agent in action. When you visit that page, simply click on the BACK button, and you’ll see the pop-up window.

When that window appears, click on the CANCEL button (to cancel your initial attempt to leave the page), and start chatting away with “Jenny.”

Please note that I haven’t trained Jenny enough, so if her answers are flaky, please give her time. She’ll learn. ;-)

And if you’re interested in the VSA technology, then please visit www.VirtualSmart-Agent.com today.

(You can use this script to find out why people leave certain pages in your site.)

Good to know you’ll be using VSA in other ways, Jerry! :-)
