It just goes to show that some of our kababayans are still very outdated. The world has changed significantly, it's now getting important to speak other languages for better communication and results. I would rather speak in Pilipino so 1,000s of people will understand me than speak English and only few will know what I'm saying. Just compare us with other Asian countries that majority speak their native language than English, they're more prosperous than us. That colonial mentality has hurt us significantly.
