Did you receive that email with the article “Why I Will Vote For Noynoy Aquino”? The “Monsod’s Musings” which tried to appear as if it were written by Winnie Monsod?

Well apparently, it’s an email hoax. It is fake, according to a blogger.

Check out Winnie Monsod’s “Why I Will Vote for Noynoy” article is a hoax.

That’s why I get skeptical whenever I see emailed messages which were authored by so-and-so celebrity figure.

It’s so easy to have your own blog nowadays, that these well-known figures can simply post their real articles online. There’s no need to forward email messages (whose authenticity hasn’t been verified) anymore, right?

Simply spread emails such as:

Have you read what Winnie Monsod wrote about Noynoy Aquino? It’s on her blog at…

By the way, please see
http://blogs.gmanews.tv/winnie-monsod

Anyway, it looks like certain campaigners are making effective use of email marketing. Just remember that on the web, news spreads quite rapidly as well.

Which makes me wonder if the person who originally penned that fake “Why I Will Vote For Noynoy Aquino” article is really for or against Noynoy.

One could argue that it was an attempt to sway the undecided voters to vote for Noynoy. On the other hand, given the rapid feedback you can get from bloggers, it could have also been a calculated move; one made to make some Noynoy supporters look like email scammers or something.

I guess we’ll never know.

In the meantime, let’s take it easy on all those circulating emails. Yes, whether it’s for this or that presidential candidate, or whether it’s against some rich candidate (fake email showing photos on a opulent mansion in Salt Lake City kuno).

The next time you receive a forwarded email, try searching first for the official and credible blog that writes about that piece of info.

It’s good to see more Filipinos blogging online. And not just the usual text/image-based blogging. You have photoblogging, videoblogging, and even problogging.

For those of you who haven’t even started blogging, but are wondering how you can use the internet to bring in more sales for your company, it’s never too late to begin learning (hands-on) today.

Over the coming weeks, we will share with you the various bloggers we come across online, so that you can also be inspired by them. Who knows? You might even learn a thing or two just by observing what the top and emerging bloggers are doing on the web.

Kudos to Radical Ray for using YouTube. It’s a good viral marketing practice to allow others to embed your videos easily in their blogs (with autoplay disabled).

Here’s a quick preview of what you’ll learn at iBlog6 concerning Online Attraction Marketing, and how you can use this to make money online.

I wrote earlier that I’ll be treating you to a free internet marketing talk about Attraction Marketing at iBlog6 (6th Philippine Blogging Summit), on the 16th of April 2010 at the UP College of Law, University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Here’s a quick preview of what I will share with you on April 16:

That’s the blueprint of online attraction marketing, where you use the internet to attract customers to you and your business.

You can use this marketing strategy whether you’re in network marketing, real estate, or even if you provide a service (i.e., doctor, dentist, contractor, fashion designer, interior decorator, events planner, videographer, caterer, travel agent, HR trainor, accountant, consultant).

Such a talk in an internet marketing seminar will cost around P4,000 but because of the special promo, you’ll get that info for free at iBlog6.

(And judging from the way most people are trying to market online, only a handful are using Attraction Marketing. Wouldn’t you like to find out how to do this type of marketing and get ahead of the competition?)

There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the talk, where you can ask me your questions about blogging, SEO, traffic, monetization, and internet marketing.

Remember, it is a FREE two-day event which attracts a lot of bloggers and online marketers. That is a good opportunity for you to network with people who enjoy publishing online.

I highly recommend you Register Early for iBlog6 today!

And if you want to gain more exposure for your company through the growing power of the internet (and have more people talking about you and your products online), please book one of the iBlog6 Sponsorship Packages.

With the upcoming Philippine Presidential Elections (May 2010), some politicians and campaign managers are asking how internet marketing can be used. Here are some tips…

Step 1: Determine what you want people to do after you catch their attention online.

Examples of what you want people to do are:

a) If the visitor is not a supporter, convince that visitor to become a supporter of the candidate and vote for that candidate during the elections.

b) If the visitor is already a supporter, give that visitor tips on how to convince others to vote for the candidate.

c) If the visitor is already a supporter and wants to become more active, give the visitor tips on how to become a volunteer (i.e., sign up for a mailing list that will provide more information, news, and updates).

Step 2: Write the salesletters.

For each of the three types of visitors mentioned above, write a letter that will directly appeal to each personality.

First Letter

For example, write a letter that sells the merits of voting for and supporting a particular candidate. Feel free to use audio, video, text and images. Convert all of those into a webpage, and publish that special webpage on the candidate’s official site.

At the bottom of the letter, invite the reader to become a volunteer, and convince them to join the mailing list of volunteers.

Second Letter

In the case of the visitor who is already a supporter, compose a letter that provides tips on what to do (or not to do) in order to convince others to also become supporters:

Teach them how to blog

Teach them how to promote their blog

Teach them the top 3 benefits Filipinos will get if the candidate wins the elections

Teach them the main points of the candidate’s platform

Similar to the first letter, try to motivate these supporters to sign-up for the Volunteers mailing list.

Third Letter

Create a separate page which lists the benefits of signing up for the Volunteers mailing list:

Access to the latest news and updates

Faster dissemination of best practices

Know what others are doing; learn from their ideas

In your mailing list sign-up form ask for the volunteer’s First Name, Surname, Phone Number, and Email Address.

Please take note that these three letters should be hosted in the candidate’s official website.

Once those three letters are online…

Step 3: Publish an internet marketing guide for your volunteer bloggers.

That guide will contain a list of the URLs (or webpage addresses) of your different letters.

The guide will also show examples of HTML code that bloggers can use to copy and paste at the bottom of each of their blog posts.

For example:

Who are you going to vote for in the coming Philippine Presidential Elections? I’m going to vote for [name of candidate] and here’s why [link to the first letter].

If you’re also going to vote for my candidate, please help us spread the word to our fellow Filipinos [link to second letter].

And if you would like to do even more, please register as a volunteer [link to the third letter].

Step 4: Guide your volunteer bloggers and ask them to blog away.

Get them to post articles in the blogs that cover topics which is of interest to the voting public. Yes, any topic.

As long as it will appeal to the interest of Filipinos who are able to vote.

For example, they can blog about popular TV shows, or Philippine travel spots, or Philippine real estate, or Philippine shopping…

The Goal: Attract Filipino voters and get them to like you, the blogger.

How can you get people to like you online? Publish content that is:

Relevant

Entertaining

Helpful – provides solutions to people’s problems

If the blogger helps the reader (through the power of words on a webpage), that reader may be inclined to click on one of the three links found at the bottom of each blog post.

In other words, if you have an army of 10,000 volunteer bloggers, and each of them posts 1 article a day, that’s 10,000 helpful or relevant articles daily.

I have seen some blog networks containing 1,000 pages and these tiny networks attract 3,000 to 4,000 people daily.

So if you assemble a group of 10,000 bloggers, that group has the potential to reach over 1,000,000 Filipinos each month via the internet.

What Not To Do

Please resist the urge to “invade” other blogs or online forums just to “politely” question the capabilities of other candidates. You won’t be seen as objective, and people might not believe you.

They’ll only think that you’re just saying what you’re saying, because you want your own candidate to win.

Also, resist the juicy urge to debate online. When people write, the lack of face-to-face interaction tends to make us snarkier, and we tend to write nasty or downright painful words.

Unlike a verbal argument where you say something hurtful and people eventually forget, a written sentence can get read, over and over again.

And each hurtful sentence, read repeatedly, magnifies the pain, anger and resentment felt by the reader.

Trust me, it is simply not worth it.

What To Do

Instead, focus on helping people online. Give them the useful or entertaining information that they need and want, then advertise the “Letter Pages” in the official website of your chosen candidate.

That way, you did not force anyone to form an opinion. They will be the ones to decide, on their own, if they will even take the time to read those letters (which you will advertise at the bottom of your helpful blog posts).

The Blogger’s Role

The job of the blogger is to attract people who are searching for solutions to their problems. After the solution is provided, the blogger will then, through a tasteful text-based advertisement at the bottom of their blog post, allow people to click on over and read any of the three letters of the candidate.

That’s it.

The blogger shouldn’t try so hard to convince readers to vote for a certain candidate. That is the job of the campaign managers of the candidate.

Afterall, it will be the campaign team that will compose those Three Letters. It will be up to them to use their copywriting skills to convince readers to vote for the chosen candidate.

Bloggers will mainly help people, and send traffic to those Three Letters.

The Internet Marketing Result

The web will have more relevant and useful articles, and more Filipino bloggers will have the chance to make money online, because their blog posts will attract many people.

When you are able to attract the attention of many people online, you’ll also attract the attention of advertisers, some of whom will help you earn online advertising income.

If the election campaign managers do a good copywriting job, they will attract more supporters, volunteers, and perhaps even more bloggers.

In the end, after the elections, you’ll still have a huge network of blogs and online articles which can also help improve the economic situation of Filipinos.

The only question that remains is: Are you going to do it?

A Filipino blogger has recently gone problogging on a full-time basis. Yes, he left his day job last February 15. And yes, he is Marhgil Macuha.

In Embracing The Dot Com Lifestyle, Marhgil shares how he gave up 25% of his monthly income so that he won’t have to wake up early and suffer through the traffic of EDSA.

And it looks like he’s also inspired by the “dot com lifestyle” of John Chow.

We wish you all the best, Marhgil. And we look forward to reading about your experiences. Here are some topics I hope you tackle in future blog posts:

1. How do you deal with loneliness / isolation?

2. How many hours straight can you sanely spend in front of the computer daily?

3. What will be your source of content (i.e., will you go out more often now)?

While I do like to write, I also like to move around and interact with different people. You know, pick their brains and gain new insights.

It gets quite interesting when you mingle with the non-internet crowd, or with folks who mainly use the web for email and YouTube.

One idea I got from conversations with un-wired friends is this:

Blog once, earn many times.

Yes, some people don’t want to keep on blogging forever. Some internet marketers simply want to build a 10-page site and then not have to update it ever again.

And still have it earning money online month after month.

Is that impossible? Not really. If there are long-term bloggers, there are also 10-post bloggers.

Once these mini-site enthusiasts build enough sites, they get as far away from the internet as possible and then simply deposit their online earnings.

Some are lucky enough to have stumbled upon profitable niches (yes, they earn mostly from online advertising revenues). Others keep at it.

Which isn’t such a bad thing, actually. There are bloggers who blog for the sheer joy of it, and the monthly dollar checks are simply an added bonus.

Anyway, we wish Marhgil all the best. May you earn a lot, have fun in the process, and have the time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Internet Marketing Tip: Stay tuned for full, hands-on, in-the-field e-commerce tactics and infobits from Macuha.com (Marhgil will talk about SEO during iBlog6!)

A lot of network marketers (at least in the Philippines) seem to be afraid of the internet. If you ask some of them why they aren’t marketing yet online, you’ll get any of the following excuses…

Why Network Marketers Are Not Using Internet Marketing

Lack of technical expertise

Lack of time

Still getting ready for it

Still thinking about it

Hmmm.

You can actually start publishing online by simply using email. Seriously!

There was an instance where a beginning network marketer asked about marketing using the web, and even after getting training, he still couldn’t publish a blog post containing just two words: “Hello world.”

Well… “couldn’t” is not the right word. Perhaps a more accurate one would be “wouldn’t” since he was clearly able to send/receive kilometric email messages, but simply wouldn’t send a simple email with those two short words.

Is it lack of time? Really now.

I mean… it’s just two words.

It basically boils down to this: MINDSET.

Yes, you’ll hear that word escape the lips of seasoned speakers who enthrall the crowd during Business Opportunity Meetings. Yet once the conversation turns towards the internet, the person transforms right before your very eyes.

People are uncomfortable with change. So if you’ve succeeded in the past with face-to-face closing techniques, it becomes understandably difficult to test online methods.

Even if the tactic is as “low tech” as email.

Here’s something to ask yourself: When will I actually go ahead and start marketing online?

Enough of the “preparation”, my friend. Read, learn, and apply. As in right now.

Go ahead and make mistakes. That’s perfectly all right. It’s also one of the fastest ways to learn internet marketing.

Move forward and write something. Publish anything online. Get over your fear of rejection. And before you know it, you’ll be writing, and learning, and writing some more.

Before long, you will have published an army of webpages ready to get the word out to all interested people. And when that day comes, you will ask yourself why you didn’t get right down to it earlier.

But that’s okay. We’ve all started somewhere.

Wait… I remember another excuse: “I don’t speak English well.”

Who says you have to market only in English? There are lots of customers who prefer to communicate in other languages such as Tagalog (or Filipino).

Here’s another one: I’m not a writer.

Okay… use your cell phone and record a video of you talking.

I mean, isn’t that how network marketers communicate with other people? All you need to do is experiment and transfer your real-world experiences onto a website.

Just try it. And see what happens.

For those of you who are curious about Internet Attraction Marketing (or using the internet to attract customers to you), there will be a short talk about online attraction marketing during iBlog6 (The 6th Philippine Blogging Summit)…

iBlog6 will be held on April 16 and 17, 2010 at UP Diliman. You’ll find details in Get Ready and See You at iBlog6.

Who is internet attraction marketing for?

Network marketers

Real estate / property agents or brokers

Service professionals (i.e., doctors, dentists, trainors)

Sales professionals (whether product or service)

Anyone who markets to people who use the internet

In a way, it’s a form of effortless marketing.

Yes, there is some amount of work/effort involved, but at least you no longer have to cold call, or hand out hundreds of flyers, or pound the pavement just to bother people who might not even be remotely interested in your product or business opportunity.

With “effortless marketing”, the foundation or early work that you did in the past will still help you reap benefits in the future.

Unlike the traditional “pick up the phone and call someone” tactic which practically gets wasted after calling someone who is totally uninterested, the internet-approach helps prove that…

“Nothing you market online is wasted.”

For example, if you publish a blog post and it gets read by 100 people, you simply wrote it once. You did not publish it a hundred times.

Try that with a phone call.

Think about it. The phone call you made yesterday is gone. Over. Wasted.

Want to call up someone again? Well, you have to make another phone call.

But with the internet, you don’t need to re-publish your blog post. It is already there, waiting for the next person who wants to read it.

In other words: Write once, get read many times.

And on the internet, your words have a way of attracting people who want to be your customers.

Ask yourself: Why are you here, reading this webpage?

I mean, did I even ask you to come here and read it? Most likely not. Chances are, you arrived here because you were searching for something, or someone you know pointed you to this page.

In other words, you are already experiencing the effect of Attraction Marketing firsthand.

Do you want to know how all of these little steps come together towards the fulfillment of the overall online marketing plan?

See you at iBlog6.

If you’re searching for a franchise in the Philippines, it looks like one of the more popular franchising investments is the fast food cart franchise. Let’s face it… in certain economic environments people will spend on highly affordable food items.

In the Philippines, among the franchising businesses tend to cluster around merienda or snack time food and beverages: burgers, squid balls, fruit shakes, shawarma, sisig, waffles, dimsum, and noodles.

(See list of Philippine food cart franchises)

People are on the go, and while they’re on the road they need to eat while minimizing their expenses. Hence the popularity of these various food carts.

But you don’t see them all over the Philippines, though. Like most franchising businesses, your proposed site or location will still be subject to ocular inspection.

They won’t allow you to set-up shop near other franchisees. Which really makes sense, because you don’t want business partners cannibalizing one another’s market share.

If you’re interested in nurturing your entrepreneurial spark, and if having a food cart franchise in the Philippines is something you’re looking for, then please let me know and a team (From Royale Business Club) will help you get started within the next few weeks.

There are basically two groups of people in this world: Those with a lot of time but no money, and those with money but no time.

But if you are able to have a lot of time and money, then what you end up having is a fantastic lifestyle.

Here’s the secret to having both time and money…

Automation.

Yes, that’s the secret!

If you can automate some of the things you do, particularly those activities that help you make money, then you will have both time and money.

For example, let’s assume you’re a real estate agent. One way of making money is by manning those booths, handing out flyers, and hoping that one of the people who asks for your flyers goes on and actually buys the condo or house and lot that you’re selling.

In this scenario, if you want to make more money, then you will have to spend more time manning those booths, or being in the reception tent at the site of the property you’re promoting.

In another example, let’s assume you’re a network marketing dealer. One way of making money is by “showing the business plan” to friends and relatives. Hopefully, someone in the audience will join and sign up as a dealer or independent distributor under you.

In that case, if you want to make more money, then you will have to spend more time giving presentations to more and more people.

So, while you may eventually make money, you also have to spend a lot of time traveling from one venue to another.

Fortunately, you can automate some of your business activities so that you can have more time for other things such as:

Your hobbies

Traveling

Reading books

Enjoying meals in restaurants

Spending quality and quantity time with your family

Relaxing and de-stressing at the spa

Shopping with your friends

Trekking or getting physically fit

Dancing and singing

Learning how to play a musical instrument

…and so much more!

How do you automate? Use the internet.

Use the internet to hand out real estate flyers. Use the internet to present your MLM plan to people. Use the internet to multiply yourself. Use the internet to promote your business, no matter what industry you’re in.

The internet can help attract people to your business. And when those people contact you, there is a higher chance that your meeting will lead to an actual sale, because the web helped you attract interested buyers.

Would you like to have a dream lifestyle? Imagine yourself having both time and money. See yourself having wealth plus the time to actually enjoy it.

Now all you need to do is take action. Take your internet marketing tutorial today, and go sign-up now at http://www.pinoybiznow.com/lifestyle.html

Have you seen the latest Noynoy Aquino TV commercial, where he talks about corruption being the problem, resulting in poverty? (Korupsyon ang problema, kahirapan ang resulta)

Here’s the video:

Here’s a quick translation:

Our country is like a beautiful house
that is slowly getting destroyed because
we got cheated (and got poor materials).

The funds were stolen/poached.

That is the effect of corruption, too.
More people are becoming poor,
many are oppressed…
because of corruption.

We have eversince been hardworking.
We have always been persevering.
But we are always cheated.

Corruption is the problem.
Poverty is the result.

The fight is not yet over.
I will continue (the fight).

Here is another version of the Noynoy Aquino commercial about corruption:

And here’s the loose translation:

This is the road that can be built from your funds.
But this is what was built.
The result of corruption and substandard materials.

They say we have a multi-billion fund for
health insurance and new hospitals.

That is correct.

But here we are… Our people are still
lining-up (or queueing) in decrepit health centers.

(They say there are no funds.)

Corruption is the problem.
Suffering is the result.

The fight is not yet over.
I will continue (the fight).

What’s your favorite Noynoy Aquino political ad or commercial?

Do you want to know how to make money with the help of DXN Philippines? Before you go off and simply write this off as a scam, consider the following first…

If you speak with various DXN Philippines independent distributors, you will find out that there are three ways to earn with DXN:

Use Products, Earn Rebates

Sell the Products, Earn Retail Profits

Invite Others to Join DXN

It’s easy to join DXN. To register, you only need to pay P875. Please ask the DXN distributor who is inviting you, though, how much you will need to spend monthly to remain a member in good standing.

From the ones I’ve interviewed, budget around P1,500 to P2,200 each month. You’ll need to commit to a certain number of PV’s or points in order to qualify for a cheque.

I asked a DXN distributor for some quick numbers, and this is what I found out…

If you join DXN and commit to spending P2,000 a month, and if you invite ten other people and motivate them to consistently spend P2,000 monthly on DXN products, you will earn something like P1,800 each month.

Please note that you only have to find 10 people. Those people do not have to invite others.

Of course, they’ll be spending P2,000 a month while you’ll be in effect spending about P200 (P2,000 minus P1,800) monthly.

This is great if you enjoy using those DXN products.

(Please note that these numbers are rough estimates. The actual DXN compensation plan has various levels and percentages.)

Okay, let’s go back to our computations. In other words, if you can bring in 10 loyal customers paying DXN P2,000 a month, it’s like you helped generate sales of P20,000 a month for DXN, or a sales commission of 9% each month.

If you want to earn more, then find people who will actively invite other people (who will also spend on DXN products monthly). It also helps to work with a DXN distributor who will give you network marketing training.

If you want to make money online, then there are a few things you need to do particularly in the field of blogging. Some people are asking if they should just build websites or blogs, but there is a secret that you should know…

Yes, I know that once I publish this, it will no longer be a secret. But you know, it will still remain a secret. Here’s why…

If you visit a library, you know that there is a lot of information in all of those books. In other words, the info contained there is “no longer a secret.”

And yet you don’t know even half of what’s in the library. Or even half of an entire encyclopedia set.

Even if the info is just out there, almost at your fingertips, what you don’t know is still… a secret.

So, get ready to be among the very few who are aware of Blogging Secret #2…

Publish regularly.

That’s right. Post or write often, and the search engines will visit your site and help you get the word out quickly.

Blog often and before you know it, you’ll have lots of useful and relevant pages on the internet. You’ll gain numerous opportunities to be found.

What should you blog about? Well, if you have a niche blog that’s focused on a particular topic, you might not have enough material to write about on a regular basis.

So… build a general or multi-topic blog. Create your online mini-world where you can write anything that enters your mind. Now tell me, won’t you have a wealth of ideas to write about?

Of course you will. It’s like talking to a friend. You won’t run out of topics.

And what if your interests aren’t varied enough? Well, go out and visit the library. Or have lunch with your friends. Or watch popular shows on TV. Or reach out and connect with your neighbors.

There’s a whole world outside that will help enrich your life and add to your experience. Go out, step out, talk with people, or even exchange tweets in Twitter.

Watch a TV show together with hundreds of thousands of people in the world. Such as the last episode, for example, of ABS-CBN’s “May Bukas Pa” (There Is Still Tomorrow), which became a Top Trending Topic last night on Twitter.

It’s fascinating how you can easily touchbase with so many people and do things together with the help of television, the web, and the entire internet.

With all of these tools and opportunities, you can now blog regularly, make friends, and build your internet business all at the same time.

I sent an email to wi-tribe (Philippines) last January 31, 2010 to inquire if wi-tribe has coverage in my area. I used their “Request for Coverage Info” form in their website. They replied via email on Friday, 05 February 2010.

Yep, it took them five days to respond.

What does this tell us?

This tells us that it is better to call them up at 31-TRIBE instead of sending them email.

When I called them up, they told me that half of my subdivision is covered by wi-tribe 4G Philippines, and that they will get back to me with details if my street is included in the covered half.

(I called them up around Feb 1, and they responded immediately, since we were speaking with one another over the phone.)

Anyway, it’s good to know (after 5 days) that our street is not covered. At least, they got back with that piece of information.

It would’ve been more convenient if wi-tribe Philippines simply posts a list of covered areas on their website. It helps save time.

Are you a wi-tribe subscriber? If you are, please share with me how well their customer care or support group takes care of your inquiries, and if you’re satisfied with how fast they reply to your questions. Thanks!

People interested in network marketing in the Philippines keep hearing about the dangers of “kamada”, and how it can harm MLM companies that are offering binary compensation plans.

Does anyone have the numbers to prove it? What happens if we simulate it via an Excel spreadsheet? Let’s see…

Let’s say a product is worth P7,000 and if you manage to directly sell that product to a dealer, you will earn a direct commission of P500 while the person who sponsored you earns P350 in commissions.

Let’s assume that you’re the only one directly recruiting people. Based on this, for every person you recruit, the MLM company pays out P850 in commissions (500 + 350).

In a binary system, if we take take your point of view (and you’re at level 1), then there will be two people in your Level 2, and 4 people in your Level 3, and so on…

Let’s assume you are such a star Pinoy MLM networker, that you are able to build a perfect binary matrix (kamada). Meaning, you’re able to fill up all the slots in your network.

In your Level 2, you have recruited two people. They form a pair, and therefore you earn P1,500 for that pair (P1,500 x one pair). Let’s call this the Pair Commission.

In your Level 3, you have recruited four people (there will be two people each under your Level 2 recruits). Your pair commission will be P3,000 (or P1,500 x two pairs).

In your Level 3, notice that your Level 2 people each have a pair under them. So each Level 2 person will earn a Pair Commission of P1,500 for a total of P3,000.

Total Pair Commissions Paid Out On Level 3:
To You – P3,000
To Level 2 People – P1,500 x 2 = P3,000
Grand Total Pair Commissions = P6,000

If you keep growing your network, and if you feed the numbers into an MS Excel spreadsheet, you will see that in order to reach a point where the total commissions paid out exceed the total cash inflow would be at Level 10.

In other words, you will need to build a network of 1,023 accounts on your own (KAMADA). Can you imagine how much cash you need to set aside to do this?

Try at least P7.0 million (and to earn what, P250k or an ROI of only 3.5%, plus a thousand boxes of the product?) It is not worth the effort.

That’s why I don’t get it when some Pinoy network marketers look solemn whenever they say the word “kamada.”

Some bloggers who are trying to make more money online have started deleting several of their old blog posts. While it may look like they’re doing themselves a favor, I recommend a different approach.

Why would probloggers delete old content? Well, some previous posts talked about topics outside of the main theme of their blog. These bloggers believe that erasing old, unrelated content will help focus visitors on more relevant content.

While it’s true that pruning your blog will help drive traffic to your favorite blog posts, you are leaving money on the table.

In Tagalog, sayang! (Loose translation: What a waste!)

I often tell my internet marketing friends that nothing you publish on the web is wasted. So here’s my recommendation about blog posts you don’t want:

1. Start a NEW blog somewhere else.

2. Copy/paste the old blog posts that you no longer want in your main site into the new external blog site.

3. Ask your webmaster or programmer to create “301 redirects” from your old blog posts to their new location in the blog you set-up in Step 1 above.

4. At the bottom of those transferred blog posts, provide a link to your old/main blog.

5. Search your old/main blog for links to your old blog posts, and edit or even delete those links.

Here’s what will happen…

People who visit your old blog will no longer have directly, one-click access to the old blog posts that you want to retire. That will help you meet your objective of focusing the attention of your site visitors.

But people who use the search engines and still see links to your old blog posts (the ones which you want to retire), will click and be redirected to your new blog.

They will read your old blog posts in the new blog, and perhaps even visit your main blog.

Now why would some bloggers go through all this trouble?

1. They don’t want the old blog posts to interfere with the way their main blog makes money online.

2. They don’t want to suffer SEO penalties for having a site that has missing pages.

Bottomline: Please do not delete your old blog posts.

Either redirect them to some folder in your main site, or to some other external site.

Remember, nothing you publish online is ever wasted. All you need is a bit of creativity, and you will always find a way to make the most of what you have contributed to the web.

Did you know that the words you regularly say out loud become reality? Yes, whenever you repeat something and you hear it, whether it is positive or negative, that’s exactly how your future is going to turn out.

It’s true! Even Bo Sanchez has a personal story to back that up…

The story involves Bo’s mom and her health, and you will find the details in Bo Sanchez’ How To Use Words To Create Your Reality
http://bosanchez.ph/how-to-use-your-words-to-create-your-reality/

Go ahead. Read that and come back here.

Back already? Great! Now ask yourself these questions:

What do I keep saying about my own health?

What do I keep saying about my finances?

What do I keep saying about my lovelife and about my relationships?

Now get a pen and paper, and write down whatever comes to mind when you ask yourself the questions above.

Think and try to remember every single phrase that you have been saying all this time, that is related to the questions above.

Done already? That’s good.

Now go through the list that you’ve written, and look at your life and the situation you are in. Do you see any pattern? Can you prove for yourself if it is true the words really do shape your own reality?

Now say this everyday: “I am healthy, loveable, and rich. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.”

Say that for the next 21 days, and observe what happens to your life. And prepare to be amazed… at first. Do you know what replaces amazement? Yes, faith.

Because before you know it, you will understand and accept as a simple fact, that words really do shape your tomorrow.

TIP: Check out Bo Sanchez and his Truly Rich Club today!
