What does Samsung have in mind for 2013? More mobile content, plus a focus on big business.
In Samsung’s big push for 2013: content, corporates we find:
German business software maker SAP provides employees with Samsung’s Galaxy S III, the larger Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Tab, SAP Chief Information Officer Oliver Bussmann said in an interview.
Will have to re-think limiting employees to just 3 devices (e.g., laptop and 2 cell phones), as some companies allow as many as 10 devices for official use.
Of course, this could mean that there are 10 possible types, what with iOS, Android, Windows, and BlackBerry.
Then again, can we imagine someone working with a desktop, laptop, iPhone, Android phablet, Windows tablet, and who knows what other sizes will come out in 2013?
Yes, we can perhaps put limits such as: either you’re assigned a desktop or a laptop, but not both.
What happens, though, when employees start bringing their personal devices to the office (if they haven’t already)?
Interesting times indeed for the mobile crowd. 🙂
