Are you trying to make money online by blogging daily in your Empower Network blog? You may have tried the Scheduled Posts feature of WordPress…
You’re supposed to blog daily, but the reality is you won’t feel like doing it everyday. There will be some days, however, when you’re in the zone and you end up writing more than two blog posts.
Resist the urge to publish more than two posts a day.
You’ll end up burning out. Worse, you’ll give the search engines the impression that you are not committed to publishing on a regular basis. When that happens, the search engine robots will not visit and index your new articles as often or as quickly as before.
In WordPress, you can write your blog post today, and then schedule it for publishing at some later or future date.
I’ve tested this in the WordPress Multi-User blog system of the Empower Network, and twice saw that the scheduled posting date was missed.
TIP: Continue scheduling posts, because you’ll never know when you’ll be in a writing mood. Type away and write when the creative mood hits you.
Then… log in regularly, edit your blog post, then click on the UPDATE button to have the blog post actually appear in your blog.
It would be great if EN blogs would follow the WordPress scheduled posts system, but for now, just use this workaround. Here’s to your success and happy blogging! 🙂
