Why do some parents blog? Is it just to make money online? Is it to earn Google AdSense advertising dollars? No, not all the time.
Sometimes, parents blog to help their children with homework…
There are some classes where there are no books about the subject matter. The students have to rely on classroom lectures, and they have to take notes.
Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to take down notes. Or perhaps some people are unable to scribble quickly, let alone legibly.
So we turn to the web, do a bit of research, and then blog about it so that we can easily find it again in the future. This can be quite convenient especially if you have younger children who will take up those same subjects somewhere down the road.
Clearly, problogging isn’t just about making money online. Well, at least not directly. If you think about it, helping your children do well in school will somehow help open more opportunities for them in the future.
So to all fellow parents, I encourage you to blog more. Please don’t lock everything away inside Facebook. 😉
